Suellen's Secret Makes No Secret of Waterfront Support

Suellen's Secret owner, Suellen Troup, made no secret of her support for the Waterfront Rescue Mission's Women's Rescue and Recovery programs by donating 25 percent of the proceeds from "Girls Night Out" to the local shelter.

Held on a monthly basis, "Girls Night Out" not only offers ladies the opportunity to shop til they drop at the consignment boutique, but provides a guest speaker, complimentary refreshments, door prizes, informal fashion shows, and a special theme as well. "We are all about women empowering women," said Katheryn, local manager of the boutique.  "The Waterfront Rescue Mission's Women's Rescue and Revocery programs was a perfect choice to receive our proceeds because that's exactly what they do as well. They empower women to overcome addictions and very difficult circumstances."

Since 1993 the Women's Recovery Program has provided aid to countless women who are homeless or have substance abuse problems. For more information about our programs for women, click here.
