November 1, 2010- The Waterfront Rescue Mission recently two submitted applications for the $50,000 Pepsi Refresh Project and both applications have been accepted for the voting cycle that begins on November 1, 2010. The Waterfront Rescue Mission is now asking for the community's help to win up to $100,000 for the homeless!

Pepsi is giving away $1.3 million every month this year to fund great ideas that "refresh" communities. One thousand applications are accepted monthly via the Pepsi Refresh Everything Web site and America votes for their favorite projects.  The Waterfront Rescue Mission submitted two $50,000 grant applications: one for food and shelter expenses for their shelter in Mobile, Alabama and one for food and shelter expenses for their shelter in Pensacola, Florida and both applications were accepted. We need your vote!

Beginning November 1, America can start placing votes for their favorite organization or project. We need every member of the community and surrounding communities to help us make this project a reality.  Each person has three votes per project per day.
