Waterfront Rescue Mission
Bargain Center Ministry serves the community through a network of
five thrift stores
that provide affordable merchandise to the public. The Bargain Centers
generate revenue by selling used but usable goods that have been donated.
All of the proceeds from the Bargain Centers are used to help fund
the Mission’s programs of emergency services and recovery. The
ministry also makes vocational training available to men and women
in the various Waterfront Rescue Mission recovery programs. Emergency
assistance is given at no charge to eligible people through the Community
Care Centers located within the Bargain Centers.
